Something big is brewing in the Swiss Alps.
The Mountain Camp 2027 organising team is already deep in the planning phase. Five of our core volunteer organisers just wrapped a planning retreat in Davos, mapping out the vision for the 10th-anniversary sixth edition of Mountain Camp, March 2-4, 2027.
On the agenda: pre-conference activities (Feb 28 and Mar 1), the theme "Humans with AI in the loop," networking over fondue and mountain adventures, and building an open-source event that prioritises human connection over spectacle.
We are a volunteer-led team and we are building this event to be "makers, not takers." Stay tuned as we share more of the plan.

10 years of Mountain Camp!
It started with a small group of open source enthusiasts, a mountain, and a dream. That was 2017.
Fast forward to today: the orga team just had its first planning session for Mountain Camp 2027 and we are buzzing. This one is special. 2027 marks 10 years since that very first camp, and we want to make it the most fun and amazing one yet.
